Born and raised in Connecticut, I moved to New York City in my late 20's and to Honolulu in my late 30's.
After 18 years as a bookkeeper/accountant, I left the field to pursue my true passion: teaching. I recieved my BA in English/Economics at Hunter College in New York City and my M.Ed. - Secondary English Ed. at Hawai'i Pacific University in Honolulu.
I taught for three years at Kailua High School before relocating to Connecticut in the summer of 2010. I am currently teaching as an adjunct for Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport, and was recently hired to teach at a local public high school for the next school year. I am pursuing other work as well as considering a Ph.D. program.
The adventure continues...
